Yoga and Pilates Classes




The Rec will now be offering yoga and pilates classes!
Yoga for Stress Reduction will be focusing on calming the mind and increasing strength and flexibility. We will be moving at a moderate pace and working on postures, breathing work, and meditation. (Monday 5:30pm-6:45pm, Wednesday 6:00pm-7:15pm)

Mat Pilates will help to develop core body and abdominal strength, increase flexibility and improve posture. We will be using exercises designed by Joseph Pilates to focus on the body working as a single unit to correct its asymmetries and to bring the body back into complete balance. (Monday 7:00pm-8:00pm)

With both classes please bring a Mat or Blanket and wear clothing that is non-restrictive and allows for easy movement.

Classes will be $10/class or 4 session for $35, what a deal!! Classes will begin on July 6th and will be held at the Swanton Senior Home.
