Pig & Poker




Tomorrow's forecast calls for "Rain early...then remaining cloudy with showers in the afternoon. High 69F. Chance of rain 80%. Rainfall near a half an inch." What a perfect day for an indoor Poker Tournament!!! Our Pig & Poker Tournament with Catamount Poker will be held tomorrow, July 18, at Franklin County Field Days.

Our schedule will be as follows:

Registration 9:00-11:00 a.m.
Pig Roast: 11:00-12:00 p.m.
Game Begins 12:10p.m.
Buyin $100.00 and $10.00 entry fee
No Rebuys,One Add on

All levels of players are welcome, you never know, tomorrow could be your lucky day!

Soccer Registration

Registration for fall Soccer, ages itty bitty - 6th grade, will take place on 7/22 from 5-7 pm at the Rec Building. We are located at 16 Jewett Street, at the ball fields.

Nature Photography

This Saturday, July 12, we will be holding a Nature Photography Course at the Missisquoi Wildlife Refuge. Photographer Kris Jarrett will teach participants the beauty of photographing in nature and the techniques to create incredible pictures with both digital and film cameras.
The course runs from 10-3 and participants are asked to bring their own lunch. The class is $25 for 5 hours of instruction.
Interested individuals are asked to e-mail or call the Rec as soon as possible so that we can get a head count.
